This series is one of the best, right up there with J D Robb. The characters grow throughout the series. The storyline has action, mystery and humor with a touch of romance. The writing is superb. So good I've read the series from the beginning at least once or twice each year. Can't wait till the next book!
I have so enjoyed this series! The writing is crisp with just the right amount of description and detail. Colleen always manages to add an unexpected humorous situation to lighten up all Shelby's trials. Colleen is, unfortunately, in a class by herself. Such fun reading is all too scarce. I eagerly await each new adventure and listen to past ones while she writes more. This author is a joy. Her creativity is phenomenal and each book has its own great plot.
